Patrick Grayer is a family lawyer, collaborative lawyer, and accredited family mediator.

As a mediator Patrick strives to create a inclusive environment so the parties can reach a fair agreement everyone is invested in.

As a collaborative lawyer Patrick works with a team of professionals in a holistic process towards a common goal of a healthy and enduring outcome for a family and children.

As a lawyer, Patrick is a strong advocate for his clients and focuses on fair and cost effective results. He is an experienced litigator and appears regularly in the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia.  He has also appeared in front of the BC Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, and a variety of tribunals.

Patrick was raised in East Vancouver around Commercial Drive.  Before obtaining a juris doctor degree at UBC, he studied history at SFU.  Patrick then articled and worked at the Department of Justice before setting up a private practice in the neighbourhood where he grew up.

Patrick is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, Collaborative Divorce Vancouver, and regularly volunteers or works with Access Pro Bono BC, Peak House, and the Law Foundation of BC, among others.
